By accessing or using the ReportYou platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and vendors who access or use the platform. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
To submit reports, vote, or access certain features, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration • Maintain and promptly update your account information • Keep your password secure and confidential • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Vendors listed on ReportYou are subject to the following guidelines: • Vendor profiles may be created by users or claimed by business owners • Claimed vendors must provide accurate business information • Vendors may respond to complaints through the platform's official response system • Vendors may not attempt to manipulate, suppress, or fraudulently remove legitimate complaints • Vendors who have resolved complaints in good faith may request case status updates • Repeated violations may result in vendor profile flagging or removal ReportYou is not responsible for vendor conduct but will investigate reported violations.
All content submitted to ReportYou — including complaint reports, recommendations, comments, and evidence — must: • Be truthful and based on genuine personal experience • Not contain personal attacks, hate speech, or discriminatory language • Not include private information about individuals (e.g. home addresses, personal phone numbers) • Not violate any applicable laws or regulations • Be submitted in good faith with the intent of legitimate consumer protection Submitted reports become part of the public record on vendor profiles. You retain ownership of your content but grant ReportYou a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it on the platform.
You may not use the Service to: • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated complaints or reviews • Harass, threaten, or defame any individual or business • Impersonate another person, user, or business • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without authorization • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restricted areas • Use the platform for commercial spam or unauthorized advertising • Manipulate voting, ratings, or reputation scores • Engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the platform's functionality Violations may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.
The ReportYou platform, including its design, code, logos, and features, is owned by ReportYou and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission • User-submitted content remains the property of the submitting user • By submitting content, you grant ReportYou a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of the Service • You represent that you own or have the right to submit any content you post
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: • ReportYou provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind • We do not independently verify the accuracy of user-submitted reports • ReportYou is not liable for any damages arising from reliance on content posted by users • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $50 if you have paid nothing) • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages This platform is a consumer reporting tool. We do not guarantee outcomes for complainants or vendors.
Reports, complaints, recommendations, and all other content submitted by users are created solely by those users and not by ReportYou. You understand and agree that: • ReportYou does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any user-submitted report, complaint, or recommendation • Users are solely responsible for the content they post, including its accuracy, truthfulness, and legality • The platform is not liable for any damages, losses, harm, defamation, emotional distress, or other adverse outcomes resulting from any user's report or recommendation • All content posted on ReportYou is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied • ReportYou is not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in user-generated content, even if we have been notified of such errors or inaccuracies By using this platform, you accept full responsibility for evaluating the accuracy and truthfulness of any content you read or rely upon, and you waive any claims against ReportYou for damages arising from user-generated content.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Florida, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit related to the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will: • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page • Notify registered users via email or in-app notification when changes are significant Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
